Behind the TAC Activation at the Seniors Festival: Engaging Seniors for Safer Roads.
At the heart of this year’s Seniors Festival at Federation Square, our team at Endure Collective collaborated with the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) to create a lively and interactive activation for their soon-to-be-launched Senior Road Users Hub (SRUH).
The SRUH is designed as a comprehensive online resource, providing seniors with practical tips to maintain independence and safety on the roads as they age. It also includes a self-reflection quiz to encourage personal insights about road safety.
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors and fluid shapes of the SRUH brand, we transformed the space into an engaging, interactive experience. The activation featured a variety of playful elements to captivate guests, including:
- Putt Putt Golf: A fun, hands-on game to break the ice.
- Connect 4: A nostalgic challenge that brought smiles and sparked conversations.
- Spin Wheel: A dynamic activity that added an element of surprise and engagement.
- VR goggles: To deepen the educational experience, we integrated cutting-edge technology with an immersive “Evolution of Road Safety” experience. Visitors could explore how road safety practices have developed over the years, blending entertainment with impactful learning.
The setting itself was designed to immerse visitors in the activation’s core messaging. Custom flooring, vibrant decals, and signage brought the SRUH branding to life, while the visual elements tied seamlessly into the campaign’s focus on safety, reflection, and independence.
